Munay is the name of this new bridal collection designed for beach weddings. I drew significant inspiration from Mother Nature (Pachamama), incorporating bohemian, romantic, and delicate touches, and using organic materials like cotton and silk. Munay is a word of Quechua origin (indigenous people of the Inca Empire) and represents a state of consciousness characterized by love for creation, nature, oneself, and others. While Munay's essence is rooted in the Andes, I also drew influence from our indigenous ancestors, particularly the Mayans, especially in terms of their attire. I chose to take the concept of Munay as inspiration for this collection because it embodies three principles: first, the principle of reciprocal love with purpose, which includes walking together in the same direction regardless of our similarities or differences in body and soul; second, self-love; and third, love for creation.
